Books as a motivation for weight loss.
Since I got back from the UK in March, I have pretty much existed on a very unhealthy diet of processed, fast food. Couple this with having a stressful full time job and being a part time student, and it's not surprising that I've added a few inches to my waist line and several kgs. I've decided it's high time I did something about it and am going to use my love affair with book buying to keep me motivated.
I will be treating myself to several books over the next few weeks if I can hit my weight loss goals. For every kilo I lose, I will buy a book. My goals and subsequent book buys are:
1 Kilo - Punktown: Shades of Grey - Jeffrey Thomas
2 Kilo - Lords of Twilight - Greg F. Gifune
3 Kilo - Fangtooth - Shaun Jeffrey
4 Kilo - Menagerie - E.Stuart Marlowe
5 Kilo - Fevre Dream - G.R.R. Martin
6 Kilo - All You Can Eat - Shane McKenzie
7 Kilo - Seabiscuit: An American Legend - Laura Hillenbrand
8 kilo - 14 - Peter Clines
Hopefully the thought of buying these fantastic looking books will keep me on track. :)
