A group of vacationers go fishing and decide not to heed the warnings of staying in the well worn tourist spots. It all goes wrong when a freak storm hits after which they start exhibiting strange and disturbing behaviour.
This was fairly slow to begin with but picked up the pace drastically after the halfway mark. I read this in a day which is something I don't do often. I think the author did a great job and it surpassed my low expectations going into the read. Recommended.
